At The Threshold

With the certainty of the past and ambiguity of the path forward. To feel invisible, in-between, standing at the threshold of life’s trajectory. The sextant will not help you here. Waypoints of your journey have little value in this liminal space. Something is happening, a metamorphosis. A distant voice calls, your soul strains to be heard. Your instincts counsel fear but you desire to embrace.

At these junctures in life, we feel unsettled by the inevitability of change and absence of clarity into what. But this is a period that affords introspection. A new stage of life will be revealed. Will you be a passive observer or a co-creator? Your personal agency and God’s guiding hand. This is not a time for hesitancy. Cast off the lines that anchor you to the past. Move forward with open eyes, ears, and heart. This will be an epic journey.

How many resist to pass through this space? To some, acquiescence is surrender. To others, it is a call to action. I do not fear death. I fear not living to the fullest. I throw down the gauntlet and accept the challenge. The rewards cannot be measured in traditional ledgers. I willingly pass through this space, although with trepidation for with change comes fear. But change is inevitable, and a new world awaits past the threshold.
