I am a “certified” baby boomer, corn raised in the Midwest (South Bend Indiana) and transplanted to the northeast, which is what happens when you marry a New Englander.  My wife and I have been blessed with three great kids who have grown up to be responsible and loving adults.  I am a malcontent, frustrated occupant of suburbia, pathetic guitar player, avid bike rider, and lover of coffee shops.

For the past thirty-two years I have worked as a professional economic developer in beautiful Rhode Island, and before that, for a mayor of a Massachusetts city. As an economic developer, I have spent countless hours investigating trends that are and will continue to disrupt our lives.  Frustrated, anxious, passionate and curious are adjectives that describe my constantly changing moods.  I am driven by a vision of ageless productivity, intellectual growth, financial health, close family, and independence. Most importantly, desirous to communicate my thoughts to others who may be on the same path.  Shit, maybe I’m just scared of the dark wolf lurking at the edge of the forest.  I’m not going quietly!
